Dubu

Con el motivo del día internacional del sida (1ero de diciembre) Unicef y la Fundación FCBarcelona lanzaron la campaña de Dubu, un tierno oso de peluche que explica a los niños el gran problema mundial que es el SIDA y su efecto directo e indirecto en la infancia. Como parte de las acciones realizadas, los jugadores de este gran club salieron a la cancha en el clásico Barcelona vs Real Madrid acompañados de un niño y el oso Dubu. Por favor comparte con niños cercanos a ti (hijos, nietos, hermanos, primos, etc) este sitio y este tema tan relevante. Recuerda que el primer recurso para erradicar un problema mundial es la información y que mejor que hacer esto desde una edad temprana para crear conciencia en el ser humano desde su etapa más temprana.

Based on the international AIDS day, to be celebrated the 1st of december, Unicef and the FCBarcelona´s Foundation recently launched the “Dubu” campaign, based on a sweet teddy bear in charge of explaining children the issues around AIDS worldwide and its direct and lateral effects on childhood. As a part of the communication efforts, the club´s players, during the classical FCBarcelona vs Real Madrid match, went out on the field next to a kid and a Dubu teddy bear. Please share this site with any children close to you (son, grandson, brother, nephew, etc). Remember that the first step to stop a global problem is being informed about it and the sooner the better.

Be a better man

¿Alguna vez te has preguntado si estás haciendo todo lo necesario para ser una mejor persona? ¿hay algo que podrías hacer adicionalmente para mejorar? ¿diario? Son preguntas que tal vez nos hacemos de manera inconsciente, automática, pero bien vale la pena hacerlas de manera más consciente para en verdad entender cómo vamos en el camino. Hay una canción que me gusta mucho porque cada que la escucho hace que me vuelva a hacer estas preguntas y saber cómo voy. ¿Realmente estoy haciendo lo suficiente para ser mejor? Ahora, cuando llevamos la pregunta de ¿cómo puedo ser mejor? a ¿cómo puedo ser mejor con los demás? el reto es aún más grande. No se trata solamente de cómo ser mejor yo, sino también con los demás, pero van muy de la mano y se afectan de manera mutua. P.D. La canción la canta Robbie Williams y en especial en este video, la está dedicada a Unicef. —

Have you ever asked yourself if all that you do is making you become a better person? is there anything in addition that you can do to be better? these are questions that perhaps we make to ourselves in a subconscious, almost automatic way, but I believe that it´s worth making them in a more conscious way to check how are we doing on our way.

There´s a song that I really like because every time I listen to it, it makes me ask myself again… am I really doing ok? doing enough? and even more, when we expand those questions not just to ourselves but to others, the challenge is even bigger. It´s not just about how I am doing, but how I am doing with others, how can I be a better man for the ones around. If I am ok with me, I´ll be ok with them, If I am doing ok with them, I will be fine with myself too.
